Choosing a mask and machine
Masks come in three main styles. A full face mask covers the nose and mouth. A nasal mask rests on or under the nose. A nasal pillow mask is the lightest, with soft pillows at the nostrils. We carry ResMed AirFit, Philips Respironics Amara and DreamWear, and Vive Health masks.
An auto-adjusting CPAP changes pressure as you breathe, while a BiPAP delivers two pressure levels for people who need different pressure breathing in and out. Your doctor's order decides which machine you need.
Keeping up with supplies
Disposable CPAP filters should be changed every six months, and foam filters washed weekly. Water chambers and heated tubes are made for specific machines, such as the AirSense 11 or the DreamStation 2, so tell us your model when you call. Standard CPAP tubing fits most CPAP and BiPAP machines.
