How it works
- Ask the hospital's case manager or discharge planner to send the equipment order to us by fax at (561) 965-4445, or call us at (561) 965-2785.
- Tell us the delivery address, the discharge date and the patient's insurance (Medicare, secondary or private).
- We check coverage and handle the paperwork for Medicare and insurance claims.
- We deliver the equipment, set it up in the home and show the family how to use it.
- Call as early as possible before discharge, so the equipment is ready when the patient arrives home.
Medicare, insurance and the VA
Medicare Part B covers medical equipment such as hospital beds, wheelchairs, walkers, patient lifts and oxygen when a doctor orders it for use at home. After the Part B deductible, Medicare pays 80% of the approved amount, and secondary insurance often covers some or all of the remaining 20%.
We are an accredited provider and accept Medicare, most secondary and supplemental plans, and many private insurers. For veterans, the VA pays us directly for equipment it covers.
